Phil Davidson

Phil founded Taft Sound 20 years ago. He affectionately refers to Taft as, "a hobby gone haywire." The company began with a PA that Phil inherited from his brother. Since then he has continued to buy quality gear increasing his inventory from 1 Peavey PA to 8 EAW / Crest driven PA's. Phil spent 10 years as the front of house engineer for the band Morphine. With Morphine he had the opportunity to tour nationally and internationally. Currently he is working as FoH engineer for Peter Wolf.

James "Tex" Valentine

Tex has 18 years of engineering experience. He is favored in the Irish and Folk communities. Tex is respected for his promptness and has fondness for the Grateful Dead.
